ABOUT US

Liberty University's American Marketing Association is a recognized chapter of the National American Marketing Association for undergraduate students.
We are a student operated club guided by the supervision of Dr. Chris Huseman, PhD, PCM.  Throughout the school year, LU AMA offers regular learning  opportunities through our formal meetings, notable guest speakers from around the country, opportunities to participate in national case competitions and much more.

Liberty University’s undergraduate collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association (LU AMA) produces events for students to hear from leading marketing professionals, serves as a networking opportunity for marketing and sales students, immerses students in planning and promoting fundraising opportunities and offers practical, hands-on strategic marketing applications through national case competitions.

Liberty University’s collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association has participated at the national level of the AMA Collegiate Case Competition since 2009, placing in the final four chapters in 2010 and 2011. The 2012-2013 team was a national semi-finalist. Each month the chapter invites alumni and seasoned marketing professionals to participate on a panel to share their work experiences and identify trends in the marketing field and workforce. In addition, LU AMA serves in a sales/marketing-related capacity on behalf of various non-profit organizations. These opportunities prepare our students for a successful career by elevating their practical knowledge in the marketing field and by giving them a wealth of experience they can take to the workplace.
